- @5GAMES REVIEW--------------by M.S.C.

- Rick Dangerous 2
-
- I'm doing this old game, because I found it old and tattered right at
-
- the back of my old room. I hadn't played it for a very long time so I
-
- thought I would. I'd forgotten how good the games were from this era
-
- (about 3 to 4 years ago) (and the rest!-Ed). I played this game all day
-
- and I loved it.
-
- All the old cheats came back to me. I remembered all the little things
-
- about the game, like the small cartoons between the levels, all the
-
- enemies, and the amazing weapons you have. Like the sliding bomb and the
-
- electric lazer gun type thing.
-
- The whole game revolves around the FAT GUY returning from the #6More>>>
- @7
- previous game. He tries to take over the Earth with his flying saucers,
-
- but if you complete the first level, you steal one and travel to his
-
- home planet. You then battle through and eventually, you confront the
-
- bad guy himself.
-
- The game is your average platform type, with all of the little puzzles
-
- that come with them. Even though it's old, it still hold's it's own
-
- with the like of Doom (for me even). If only on playability anyway.
-
- There are things blocking your way and stuff like that. The main
-
- problem is that you only have a limited supply of lazers and bombs
-
- and if you run out, you have nothing but a BIG problem. You have quite a
-
- number of lives, and the game is relatively easy.
-
- Graphix: 87% - Very cartoony and groovy. You come flying towards the
- screen when you die #6More>>>
- @7
- Sounds : 76% - Quite good. But not very.
-
- Lastability: 97% - Its 4 years old and I still like a game of it.
-
- Overall - 93% - but that's probably just my humble yet intelligent opinion.
-
-
-
- As usual, all of the above is a drug-induced fantasy brought on by
-
- by repeated doses of pritt-stick laced with sherbet lemon.
